KATRINA MOVIES
Susquehanna University sent 19 students, 2 staff and 2 faculty members as part of a Hurricane Relief Team to New Orleans over Spring Break. We spent our break mucking out houses, basically stripping them of everything except the frame. The following movies show a small part of the devastation in New Orleans, and Susquehanna "crusaders" at work trying to make a difference. We made a small dent in the clean up effort, but there is much more that needs to be done!!!!
You've got a friend.mov This movie features text and sound to guide the viewer through the film. I tried to coordinate the words of the music (You've got a friend by James Taylor) to the video. Yes, Bush flew over our group as we worked in St Bernard Parrish. Watch this movie and be proud of what our Susquehanna students have done. The movie is 2:33; it may take ~30 to upload using a dial-up connection.
He ain't heavy.mov This movie features a song by Neil Diamond. It shows more of the devastation and clean-up efforts. It is 4:15 long and may take up to an hour to upload using a dial-up connection.
Love and Mercy.mov This movie features a song by Brian Wilson. It's contains more damage and the clean up...The movie is 2:16 and may take ~25 to 30 mins to upload from a dial-up connection.
